This page explains how deposits, cancellation timing, credits, replacement guests, retreat changes, and travel insurance work for Natural Mystic Pavones retreats. It is written to be clear before you reserve, not surprising afterward.

Your reservation holds limited retreat inventory.
Because each retreat has a small number of rooms and beds, the policy protects the calendar while still leaving room for reasonable written review when an early cancellation can be responsibly rebooked.
Deposits reserve real space
Your deposit removes a specific room or bed from limited retreat inventory and begins the planning work for your week.
Timing matters
Cancellation options become more limited as the retreat approaches because replacing a reserved space becomes harder.
Replacement guests may help
When appropriate and approved in writing, an eligible replacement guest can help preserve the value of your booking.
Insurance is strongly recommended
Travel insurance is the best guest-controlled protection for covered medical, family, travel, weather, and emergency issues.
Small retreats require firm calendar protection.
Natural Mystic Pavones retreats are seasonal, small-capacity experiences planned around specific rooms, staff, meals, transport, surf support, and local partners. When you reserve a retreat space, that space is removed from availability for other guests.
For that reason, all deposits are non-refundable. This policy helps protect the retreat calendar while still allowing us to review reasonable solutions when there is enough time and a space can realistically be rebooked.
Deposits are non-refundable once a reservation is placed.
Payments made beyond the deposit may be handled differently depending on cancellation timing and whether the reserved space can be rebooked.
All requests must be made in writing so the timing, payment history, and room or bed inventory can be reviewed clearly.
Earlier cancellations are reviewed case by case.
If you cancel more than 60 days before the retreat start date, your deposit remains non-refundable. Any amount paid beyond the deposit may be considered for a partial credit or refund only if the reserved space can be rebooked, subject to availability, payment-processing realities, and written approval by Natural Mystic Pavones.
Approval is not automatic because each retreat date has different inventory, demand, staffing, and logistics. If a credit is offered, the credit terms, expiration window, eligible retreat dates, and transfer rules must be confirmed in writing.
The non-refundable deposit stays with the reservation even when cancellation happens early.
A partial credit or refund is considered only when the retreat space can be responsibly resold.
Any exception must be confirmed in writing by Natural Mystic Pavones.
Late cancellations are non-refundable.
Within 60 days of the retreat start date, all payments are non-refundable. At that point, the retreat space, staffing, supplies, transport planning, local partner scheduling, and guest logistics are already committed, and replacing the booking becomes significantly more difficult.
No refunds or credits are provided for no-shows, late arrivals, missed activities, early departures, personal schedule conflicts, travel disruptions, illness, injury, weather, surf conditions, or circumstances outside the retreat's control unless Natural Mystic Pavones confirms a written exception.
No-shows and early departures do not reduce the retreat price.
Missed meals, sessions, excursions, or activities are not refunded individually.
Travel delays and personal emergencies should be protected through a suitable travel-insurance policy.
The fairest solution is often planning protection before there is a problem.
If you cannot attend, you may ask whether an eligible replacement guest can take your space. Replacement guests must be approved by Natural Mystic Pavones, complete any required intake or waiver materials, fit the retreat profile, and accept all current policies before the change is confirmed.
If Natural Mystic Pavones must cancel a retreat for reasons within its control, we will communicate available remedies directly. Natural Mystic Pavones is not responsible for flights, hotels, rental cars, missed work, separate tours, insurance premiums, or other third-party travel costs. Force majeure events, unsafe conditions, border or airline disruptions, government restrictions, extreme weather, illness, natural disasters, community emergencies, or circumstances beyond our control may require rescheduling, itinerary changes, credits, or other reasonable adjustments rather than cash refunds.
Because personal, medical, family, airline, weather, and emergency issues can happen after a retreat space is reserved, guests are strongly encouraged to review the Trip Insurance page and purchase suitable coverage before or soon after booking.
Replacement guests are not automatic and must be approved in writing.
Natural Mystic Pavones may adjust itineraries, timing, surf plans, excursions, or local logistics when safety, weather, swell, staffing, or community conditions require it.
Travel insurance is recommended for cancellation, interruption, medical, evacuation, baggage, delay, and other covered events.
